Encrypted Devices/Filesystems on Linux

Yesterday I tried to encrypt a complete USB Stick under Linux. I followed this tutorial and it worked quite well.

Mounting the encrypted device isn't as obvious as could be, so here it goes:

$ cryptsetup create <symbolic name> <device name>
$ mount /dev/mapper/<symbolic name> <mountpoint>
